It is no accident that this piece is called Bears. In the collective consciousness, these magnificent animals symbolize so many things. They are sometimes perceived as soft and gentle, sometimes silly, and sometimes noble and majestic. These perceptions are (or should be) tempered by the knowledge that they are powerful and un-tameable forces of nature. However, this piece is not from a human perspective or understanding of bears. It is not what humans think about bears, but rather, what bears think about bears.
